bakery shop in korea

Life is Just a Cup of Cake may seem like a strange name for a bakery, but it definitely suits this Seoul hotspot.
the one I used to get so I didn't get it/ This bakery is not so cheap. My hubby loves bread - he finishes most of them in the car driving home so we buy a lot but not this time. I love love Korean bakery
You see, a few weekends ago I decided to roam around Itaewon and happened upon the loveliest little cupcake shop. Itaewon, for those who don't know, is a district in Seoul, South Korea. The Itaewon district is known for its exotic flavor and boasts restaurants that serve up the best authentic cuisine from any country you could think of, including Germany, Thai, Japan, China, Italy, American, Indian and others.

Review

Location:
The cupcake shop that I found is called, "Life is Just a Cup of Cake" and is positively darling. It's nestled among the busy streets of Itaewon, but sticks out like a diamond in the ruff. Or if you want to stick with cupcake analogies, like sprinkles on a mound of frosting! With a white, shabby-chic bird cage perched out front and a window full of cuteness, it's no wonder I was lured in so easily (the fact that it has the cutest name ever helped out, too).

Decor:
Life is Just a Cup of Cake is tiny, as are most Korean stores and shops (saves space!). However, it was a bit bigger than I expected it to be which was a pleasant surprise.

When I went, two women were sitting at a very tiny table drinking tea and enjoying tasty home-baked cupcakes. To the left there was a tiny room with teapots on display and another, larger sized table, with a group of cute Korean women huddled around pleasing their taste buds.

Service
Itaewon has many great English speakers since it's such a multi-cultural district. The owner of this cupcake shop was no different! Her English was quite good and she eager to help guests find the tastiest cupcake in the shop!

Taste
The fact that you walk in and it smelled like cupcakes verifies that they are home-made. The smell will make your mouth water and the various flavors (some quite exotic) makes it difficult to choose just one. After snapping a few shots and weighing my options, I chose a charming, "Earl Grey" flavored cupcake speckled with the perfect amount of shiny silver beads (edible, of course!). I devoured it later and am happy to inform you that it tasted very tea-like and was a scrumptious afternoon treat.

So, next time you're in Seoul, South Korea stop by Itaewon and enjoy a cupcake (or two)! There's no doubt it will make your life a delicious cup of cake!
and brought up in the northeast China, which shares a lot of traditions with Korean areas. Food is one of them. So Korean bakeries sound more familiar for me than other Chinese bakeries, mostly in Taiwan

bekery shop 2

The Sweet Flour Bake Shop constantly smells of freshly baked cookies, and that's because Bite into a Tate's Bake Shop chocolate chip cookie and you'll quickly realize that butter is the not-so-secret ingredient. The thin, crispy, caramel-tasting treats are the signature product of Kathleen King's Southampton, N.Y., bakery – and the guilty pleasure of beach-bound Manhattanites, celebrity fans such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Rachael Ray, and cookie lovers around the country. Growing up on a Long Island farm, Ms. King began baking as a kid and now – some four decades later – sells her confections in 40 states to the tune of $6 million in annual revenue. Her wholesale facility in nearby East Moriches churns out 24 million cookies each year, sold in clear plastic bags for $5 a dozen at retailers such as Whole Foods, Gelson's and Central Market. Ms. King, 50 years old, today has 55 employees, two cookbooks and an ultimate plan to sell her company – for a sweet price, of coursethey're constantly baking customized cookie flavors for patrons, available by the single or by the dozen in any flavor they want. Similar to an ice cream shop, visitors to the shop can satisfy their sweet tooth by choosing their own mix-in flavors that are instantly added to the appropriate amount of cookie batter, flattened into cookie shape and stuck in the oven so they transform from dough to warm, delicious cookies that meet your mouth's every desireThe process is simple, and really, the most stressful part is choosing from the many (more than 20) mix-in flavors, types of dough and spreads that are available at the Sweet Flour Bake Shop. Plus you've got to decide on a cookie format since you can go with traditional, or a sandwich cookie version, either of which I'm sure are making your mouths water just thinking about it. A. I was baking and selling cookies at my dad's farm when I was 11. He said, 'You have to buy your own clothes for school,' so I said, 'OK.' When you grow up on a farm, you start working the day you start walking. We were raised in an independent self-sufficient way – so it was just incredibly natural for me to finish college and create my own job. My mom told me about a fully equipped bakery for rent in Southampton. When I was 23, I bought the location I am still in today. At the time, it was just putting one foot in front of the other. I lived at home; I didn't have any major responsibilities. That's the beauty of being young and naïve – I didn't know what to fear.
From a business perspective, this bakery is genius for a number of reasons; it's a great concept for marketing, and it reduces waste when cookies are baked exclusively on demand rather than made in batches based on prospective sales. It sounds like The Sweet Flour Bake Shop is the first to evolve the bakery business as we know it, but it won't be the last

Bakery Business Plan

Writing a Business Plan Bakery is one of the first things you should do if you are planning on starting your own Bakery business.
This type of business can be one of the most rewarding types of businesses to start because of the personal involvement you can have with this business. You can be a part of just about every aspect of your business.

There are very few places where you can get a bakery business plan, as there are very few people who actually have the experience of bakery plans.
Most often if you were to purchase a business plan for say a cake shop business plan or a bakery business plan, they have been converted from a stock business plan document with a little colored graph or pie chart to suggest that an effort has been made to impress some bank employee.
EVERY business is different, but the plan is the same!
Strange words you say after the last statement. Well, let me explain further.
The chapters contained in a bakery business plan are the same chapters that are required in the cake shop business plan and the bakery plans or any other business plan.
It is the information within each of those chapters that are different in every single business plan!
Each chapter therefore is specific to the business, so a bakery business plan is specific to that bakery, as the cake shop business plan is specific to the cake shop business and the bakery plans are specific to the number of bakeries that the bakery plans are related too.
Simple stuff you say!

What licenses do i need for a home bakery, is a question to ask before, "how to have a profitable bakery". How hard to start bakery will be answered by your bakery business plan with your experience and confidence.
You should collect all necessary information required to start a bakery. Nobody should go into any kind of home based bakery business, or a bricks & mortar business without a business plan and this IS your first step.

Some of these books "might" be specific - "i want to start a bread shop", will only deal with starting a bread shop. It will not tell you how to open my own cupcake bakery. Nor will it likely tell you how to design a bakery, or give you a floor plan.
Similarly, there are books on do-nut shops. Books on franchises will deal mainly with that particular franchise - Coffee shop franchise - donut shop franchise or bread shop franchise in which you are governed by the franchisor and the franchise agreement.
How to start a bakery deals entirely with starting a bakery.

It's hard to believe I know but we small business people, though we might employ less than ten people and often employ just two, actually employ collectively, more than all the giant car manufacturers put togther.
You may never get the same high hourly wage you once had employed for someone else, but there is a true satifaction in ones own labors, plus the tax breaks that go along with self employment.
Today there are many people looking at starting their own business and becoming self employed, and there are many people looking to start a bakery.
Many of these have the experience to operate a profitable bakery. Many others have a desire to operate a food trade business and have a flair with food presentations.
While many others, have absolutely no idea what it takes to set up a bakery. They have no idea what ingredients to purchase or where to purchase those ingreditents.
Where do you get the equipment or even know what equipment they might require to operate their new business.
If you purchase a bakery that has been in operation for several years, then the equipment is already in the location, but it might be old equipment but still operational, but it might not be suitable to your dream business. By the very token that the equipment is old and operational might be the reason the business is for sale in the first place.
Newer equipment might be the profitable way to go, maybe leasing new equipment is the thing to do. Perhaps buying new equipment will actually increase your profits, by being more efficient.
Well as simply as it sounds or seems, you will be surprised at the number of businesses that write their business plans on the backs of a restaurant napkin and that’s where it ends.
That’s where the planning ends and the business most often in bankruptcy

Don't worry about learning any new programs for your bakery business plan. You will use the programs that you already use every day: MS Word and MS Excel. The templates, both for the text and for the financials, are set up so that all you have to do is enter your personal information.
